This is a gorgeous French edition of Paris Vogue magazine, one of our favourite Vogue covers!

A perfect issue to give as a Christmas present..

The cover is a wonderful playful clown designing clothes on a mannequin illustrated by the great Tom Keogh.

This issue of Paris Vogue is dated Decembre 1947 - Janvier 1948 - it says 1948 on the spine and makes a fantastic birthday or anniversary gift.

This being the Christmas edition is packed with all the luxury fashion and expensive brand advertising, lavish illustrations and fashion photography.

The artist Matisse is featured inside with a rare portrait by Andre Ostier and one of his trademark doves on the facing page (could be framed).

Packed with fashion by Christian Dior - this was the first year of his designs. CD began in early 1947.

Fashion photography throughout by Horst, Erwin Blumenfeld, Don Honeyman, Arik Nepo and others.

4 page feature on Versailles with photographs

8 pages of (vintage) Ski Wear photographed and illustrated.

Large bumper oversized issue of 198 pages, weighing 1kg.

Excellent condition. There is some wear to the spine that has been repaired and strengthened with glue. The photograph that shows the actual magazine you will receive.
